If by “the right field strength” you mean “so weak as to induce a negligible heating effect,” then yes, microwaves can be harmless, but then they also will have a negligible drying effect.
If the disinfectant in their bloodstream has a lower boiling point than their blood, it could cause a problem. We probably need the medical doctors to look into it.
