Ministre: Not the star of Elementary. (brain farting on actor’s name)
I suspect Ministre meant the character name, not the actor.
DQ: Show set in NYC?
IQs:
Does your best friend have a bird’s name?
Did your dad once ask for waaaaay too little money, under the circumstances?
Do you regularly host a charity sports event?
Up-to-date DQ answers
**EH-**3 DQs (though your last one may be it)
Aye, the character is ‘Sherlock’, the actor is Jonny Lee Miller. I thought he might be it…
caveat to #15: The show’s homebase is East of the Mississippi. The show’s setting varies by episode.
The Boston PI Spenser, whose best friend is the enigmatic Hawk.
Scott Evil, whose dad Dr. Evil once asked for a ransom of a paltry one milllllllllllllllion dollars.
Scott Hamilton, the Olympic skater.
I don’t watch any crime shows. Let’s brainstorm. What would be useful DQs to ask at this point?
Brainstorming: which network; age of actor; race of actor; how long the show’s been on, uh, not much there…
Is it worth asking if he’s the title character?
Are you formally asking this?
Sure. That’ll be one of my DQs.

Brainstorming, not asking: anybody watch Criminal Minds, Castle or Homicide (is that still on?)?
Castle’s first name is Richard, and he would technically be a title character. I haven’t watched any yet, so I can’t tell you anyone else’s name.
I’m still coming up blank. Two more DQs still yours for the taking, my friends.
Yes, I have four myself. Not from Castle, since that has a title character. In Post #44 etv78 thought that Elendil’s Heir might have the answer, 'cause his IQ was about someone who regularly hosts charity sports events. Still a blank. Anybody seen “Blue Bloods” or “Homeland” or “Suits”?
Oh, and he said the title is “words” [plural], so that leaves out Homeland and Suits. Ponder, ruminate, meditate, …
Prof: Homicide has been off the air a good 10 years.
