DQ:
Set in NYC?
DQ:
Set in NYC?
EH-This is my fault, but you asked this in post #42
Ah, yes, right you are - but then you dropped that as a DQ answer in your recent postings. This is why I suggest that you just copy the previous DQ answers every time, and add the new answers to the end. Continually revising the DQ answers is too likely to lead to omissions.
So: Not set in NYC.
I’m reposting accurate DQ info
1.Fictional Character
2.Male
3.1st initial is “S”
4.Living
5.A Yank created by Yanks
6.Not from Literature
7.Created post 1900
8.Character on a returning Drama from a Big 4 network
9.He works for a Law Enforcement Agency
10.Show title is whole words
11.He is not the title character (show has none)
12.Show originates from East of the Mississippi River, though not NYC
IMHO you make it more difficult to see how our DQs were answered in sequence, etv78, and you end up giving us more than 20 DQs, when you reformat all the answers like that. Unless other people love the reformatting, I wish you’d just add to the list of answered DQs, one at a time, as other players have almost always done.
Two DQs still pending. Help yourself, anyone.
I’m throwing in the towel.
You’ve used 16 DQs
I’m stumped. I still have 2 DQs that anyone is free to use.
Might it help to narrow down which of the 4 major networks? (Come to that, what are the 4 major networks? ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC?)
Heck, I have a DQ coming; I might as well.
DQ: Does the network upon which this series is broadcast come alphabetically before the letter ‘D’?
Another DQ answer
More brainstorming: Not The Mentalist unless they’ve added to their cast recently. Hawaii Five-O? Person of Interest?
IQ: In the original series, were you played by Jack Lord, and was your catch phrase 'Book ‘em, Dano’?
Ministre-Not Alex O’Laughlin
etv78: I’ve no idea who Alex O’Laughlin is, nor what that name has to do with the letter ‘S’, unless you use ‘Sasha/Sacha’ as a diminutive of the Russian ‘Alexander’. No, I was after Steve McGarret of “Hawaii Five-O” fame, who was played by Jack Lord in the '70s (or maybe the late '60s…) and whose catch phrase at the end of every episode I ever saw was 'Book ‘em, Dano’. I’m assuming the name stayed the same for the modern remake, which I’ve never seen at all.
Might have been our guy, is all…
Nope. How did I forget we’re going after a fictional person?! :smack:
Well, shee-yit, I’m as stumped as a BC clear-cut…
I give up, too.
Clue: look at post 55
Okay, so, it’s someone on Criminal Minds. I don’t watch it, and don’t know the cast, but it IS at least as famous as Botticelli. Anybody else?
Don’t know the show at all. I’m still beat.
