I searched far and wide, hither and yon for a solution to this problem, and came back to good ol’ Straight Dope. So many smart people here. I’m SURE one of you knows the answer to this! (insert as much grovelling as necessary here.)
My Wacom tablet doesn’t have a middle mouse button function, either on the mouse itself or on the pen stylus (as far as I can tell.) I’m going crazy with this because Maya leans so much on MMB shortcuts. For a lot of things, you CAN’T do whatever it is without the MMB. Does anyone else know a way to get the MMB function to work with a Wacom tablet???
Although I STILL think that it was the act of posting the question here that CAUSED me to subconsciously come up with the solution.
