Migraine earplugs thingies

I just ordered some screw-shaped foam earplugs that are vaunted as helpful in easing “weather migraines.” Has anyone used these?

More often than not changes in barometric pressure, humidity, and other weather-related events can give me serious migraines, especially the icepick-through-eye-socket- please-god-take-me-now type of migraine.

I initially thought the earplugs were snake oily, then it occurred to me that I often stuff toilet paper in my ear and nostril when I’ve a migraine and it does provide a bit of relief.

I’m waiting for a headache to begin so I can test this product . . .

I haven’t tried them yet. Please report back. I do use different types of ear plugs to reduce environmental noise triggers, but I haven’t run across these before. I wonder if they are similar to the ones that they sell for use on airplanes to help with pressure changes?

They look fancier in the commercial (not here yet). I shall test 'em in my Mad Scientist Lab and report back.
