You know the commercial, the one that ends with the woman headbutting the smarmy guy that was coming on to her. At one point the smarmy guy says to her, “Are you from Memphis? 'Cause you’re the only 10 I see.” What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Memphis is in Tennessee, which sounds like “Ten I see”. A “10” is a rating given to extremely attractive people.

It’s a pune, or play on words. Not a very good one, I’m afraid, but perhaps that’s the point.
I’m quite embarrased to say that I am a Memphis resident from birth, and I didn’t get until just now, either :eek:
