Militants threaten doll with death

That was excellent.

I dunno, the connection between Hasbro and Hammas seems to be tenuous.

Well, as long as she doesn’t try to drive to drive her hot pink corvette.

The Douglas Kern essay was hilarious.

It reminds me of that GI Joe animated series.

I remember once some of the characters were captured and couldn’t think of how to escape.

Gee that hand gernades strapped to your chest might help.

The connection between my gut and hummus, however, is strong.

Mmmm… hummus.

(BTW, the usual transliteration is Hamas.)

Some Photoshop fun during my lunch break (safe for work). Looking at it, it turned out to be a tribute to the National Lampoon.

Elmwood, I’m having trouble with that link.

No problems with the link for me, but I uploaded the image to another site. Try this link, and see if it works.

Both links work just fine for me.

Oh, and btw Lucretia, Douglas Kern’s “story” was freaking hilarious! Thanks for the link.

I’m not sure what’s so funny about this.

I mean, this exact tactic worked wonders on my little sister when I was 12.

Damn terrorists.

The Saudi Gazzette fell for it. I love the local papers!

More seriously, consider this hoax, and the apparent hoax video of the Bad Guys shooting down the British C-130. Who is doing this? The Bad Guys? The Good Guys? School kids?

Why? To claim credit? To discredit the Bad Guys? For an ‘A’ in film class?

Interesting.

And funny.

They’re sending in the special forces. http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/ginmar/17239.html?mode=reply

God, this is going to get ugly.

Actually, when I saw that, I was thinking that Team America would be the perfrect rescue unit.

oh no!

I CANNOT WAIT until the Daily Show gets their hands on this one. They will be MERCILESS!!!

And deservedly so.

They already did, on Wednesday night. Go to comedycentral.com and check out the clip labeled “G.I. D’oh.”
