Millennials are killing...

Millennials are neo-Nazis and bigots too.

Gotta love how generational stereotypes still abound, as the torch is passed from “boomers” to new categories of Evil. :dubious:

Millennials killed wrist watches.

Yeah, totally. I just read a big long blog rant by a lady who was so tired of, I dunno, being nice or over-helpful or coddling to her kids or something. Granted, she wasn’t a boomer, she was raised in the 70s. Her parents sounded kind of awful, they weren’t too nice to her. Her kids don’t mow the lawn or do the laundry and she thinks they go on too many family vacations. She wasn’t joking, she was frothy. Somehow this was all somebody’s fault but never once was it hers.

I was listening to an NPR conversation that included a Sons of the Confederate guy. They asked him why it was so acceptable to have monuments that are “the equivalent of a participation trophy” and he immediately went in to “Kids these days…in my day…trophies…” completely proving the questioner’s point while trying to defend his own. You could hear all of the other people rolling their eyes.

Millennials are killing comedy.

I’m Gen-X, and I don’t have any kids. Same goes for my friends. Can I have my mic back now?

OK, THAT’s funny!

This certificate is hereby presented to Milly Millennial for her participation in the killing of brunch.

I shot a brunch in Reno, just to watch it die. But I’m a tag-tail Boomer, so what do I know?

You shot brunch? I just publicly shamed it to death.

So, we should the Boomers’ parents for raising the Boomers wrong so that they raised the Millennials wrong?

Fuck-ups all the way down!

OK, I’ll come clean- I have, in fact, killed trees.

They were planted in a stupid place, and weren’t very healthy, but yeah, I killed like 5 of them, piled the carcasses and burnt them. You got me. Get the cuffs.

There has to be one of those bloody butterflies in there somewhere. It’s chaos, I tell you.

Mind you, milleniäl bites can be nästeï.
I think, if millennials are ruining whoever’s “our” way of life is, it’s probably about time. The businesses I’ve seen so far complaining about it are all pretty moribund anyway. Also, no business is guaranteed obscene profits into perpetuity. Tastes change.

Did you have it put down? or simply quarantined?

A millennial ate my bai-bee.

“‘Psychologically scarred’ millennials are killing countless industries from napkins to Applebee’s — here are the businesses they like the least”

The Cleveland Indians have decided that the best way to advise fans on decorum is to have incredibly annoying millennials explain behavioral no-nos on the video board just before the game.

After seeing the presentation, it took all my self-control not to interfere with a home run ball and then run naked onto the field chanting obscenities.

Scrolling through Facebook, I’m amazed at, for a generation raised with the internet, how easily Millennials are trolled by every “Millennials are killing…” clickbait article.

Yup. All these articles should be retitled, “Yet another boomer-owned business fails to adapt to changing consumer demands.”

All of these posts and barely a mention of us poor Gen-Xers. We don’t get blamed/credit for killing things, nothin’. We can’t tell people to get off our lawns. We don’t destroy businesses. It’s all boomer this and millennial that. We truly are the Blank Generation.
