The United Federation of Planets are arguably stronger than EarthForce.

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but my official vote is “contest cancelled”. The laws of physics are too different in the two fictional universes to allow meaningfull comparisons. In B5, even the Vorlons and the Shadows- spacefaring races over a billion years old- apparently did not have warp drives or force fields.

- The Earthforce Ships look realistically designed
- A better track record on equiping consoles with surge protectors

Star Trek ships have
- Shields as a standard on all ships
- Transporters
- Cloaking technology
- Missiles that can kick the seven shades of merry hell out of the opposition.
- Produced solar-system destorying devices on a semi-regular basis.
- ‘The Picard/Riker Maneuver’
