Mind if I smoke?

As I’ve said in other threads, Angie & I have an electric smoker/grill on or balcony. So far, we’ve had hickory smoked steaks and corn on the cob. Until last night, that is. For the past couple of weeks, a two pound slab of salmon has been in our freezer while I was waiting for the woodchips I had ordered online. The chips from British Columbia finally arrived a few days ago. I took the fish out of the freezer Friday night, let it marinade Saturday night and somked it with arbutus on Sunday. That was some good eatin’!

Here’s the marinade, should anyone want to try it:

1cup white wine (didn’t have any, used cooking sherry instead)
1/2c. soy sauce
1/2c. lemon juice
