Okay, I’ve decided I can swing this trip. I’m going to make reservations at the Diplomat, since that’s the hotel Zette mentioned (I think that’s what you said) and I guess I’ll head down for noon-ish Saturday unless anyone else is planning to arrive Friday night.

My first! Now I’m excited!
Looks like I’m not going to be able to make it. I’m going to Six Flags the weekend before, and that’s gonna take up my whole travel budget for a couple weeks. I’ve been to the casinos, and not being a gambling type, I found them pretty boring. Hope you enjoy your stay in my (kinda) neck of the woods!

Proof of citizenship is an original birth certificate or certified copy (with raised seal) or passport. You need this PLUS photo ID. You probably won’t get asked for it, but if you’re travelling to get there, have it ready just in case. I’d hate to see anyone get denied entry.
You can get a re-issuance of your birth certificate- I’ll have more info on this on Monday, when I contact my city records department. One website I saw also said that if your name is different then what’s on your certificate, you should be prepared to show proof if marriage/divorce.

Here’s what is happeneing…
We will be meeting in front of the casion at 2PM on Saturday…then we will play it buy ear from there.
For anyone that is gonna be there early, Trin and I will be arriving on Friday evening. Let me know if the early birds wanna meet up then.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it… there’s an Esperanto function happening in T.O. Saturday afternoon.
Just a bump now that the boards are up- the list of definates I got is:
Jack Batty, Zette, Jadis, Kwyjimbo, Trinity, Lucy Shoe, and Delph (for Saturday night)
I think everyone on that list has each other on our LJ friends lists, so we can exchange any vital info there (like phone numbers and such) if needed.

One last bump- Jadis and I are leaving in the morning (about 9:30 from here, which should get us there at about 1pm), meeting up with everyone at 2pm at the casino and having much fun and merriment from there.

AHHHHH!!! I finally convince my SO to go to a dopefest, and I hear of it late, and my SO’s dad is visiting anyways this weekend! NOT FAIR!
