Then arrest those who are looting and pillaging. How many, out of the many thousands who are marching and protesting, do you really believe are involved in these activities?
There are always going to be bad apples, but they should be dealt with accordingly and shouldn’t detract from the bigger message being sent.
Equally true of the white, AR carrying tactical-warriors showing up to demand they get haircuts and Red Lobster biscuits, all the while potentially blocking access to hospitals. Fuck the MAN!
I know you are hoping for black people to kill each other, but are you expressing the same sentiment for what appears to be the first person to get things started (hint: Not black):
Or better yet. Hopefully the rioters will get to affect serious changes in how their city conducts it law enforcement, prosecution of criminals who work in law enforcement, and society will learn to institutionalize these changes to bring about wider systemic legal equality in America.
I know some people like to root for the bad guys, I just never understood them.
That’s the standard color for P100 filters. I wear them in my workshop. They’re good against particulates and organic vapors. Wouldn’t want to try them out against tear gas, though. Definitely not something a police force would issue as riot gear.
Not saying it wasn’t an agent provocateur, but the mask isn’t much of a giveaway.
I caught some hell for this post at the time, but everyone’s opinions of Huey Freeman aside, I think it has aged a little better than some might have initially thought:
I’m not trying to bring up a debate about whether Huey Freeman was a useful or tasteless poster, but I seriously doubt he was a troll. He posted ideas that ran against the grain and challenged mostly white polite conventions about how to engage in discourse about race. As I said, there are people who simply have no fucking time for that, and we can see why. Maybe the events of the last few days have made this post a little clearer.
Facebookers are saying the protest are funded by Soros. Presumably, the virus isn’t keeping people kept inside anymore and they’re going for martial law. I was thinking last week, we’re never going to be Carefree again. I think Im right
New York police put arrested protesters on a bus to send them off to a detention facility, and the bus driver refused to transport them.
The union is supporting him.
"TWU Local 100 Bus Operators do not work for the NYPD. We transport the working families of NYC , all TWU Operators should refuse to transport arrested protesters. "
Nope 2020. Some things don’t go out of style during riots of opportunity. Minneapolis and other places are currently being torched, looted, and terrorized. Why have the apologists here gone silent?
They were grabbing Starbucks crap like crazy. One guy had a gallon of milk coming through the broken glass door. I wouldn’t waste my time.
Go for the liquor:) and TP.
