Bail is revoked, remanded to custody.
Don’t mind saying I’m crying with relief.
Wow! I don’t think cops have changed much in the last decade or two, but maybe juries have.
That’s two of us. Justice, finally.
You can bet the jury would have dealt him enhanced sentencing (aggravating factors). I’m beginning to think the Judge might, too.
This guy could be gone for a long, long time.
I can’t believe how nervous I got as the bailiff started reading the verdicts. What a blessed relief!
Make it three. I am honestly shocked that the jury came back on all three counts.
Doesn’t matter!
I didn’t expect convictions on all charges. Chauvin will face a lot of years in prison.
Me three. After watching that goddamn tape… And for all Black people who are/were harassed/murdered by law enforcement, I hope there’s some relief for them as well.
It just shouldn’t be this goddamned hard for people to convict on such an obvious set of facts. I am PROUD of that jury, I will say that!!!
I said the exact same thing. He was looking mighty anxious when the verdicts were being read out.
I wish I could understand what the hell was going on in his mind when he refused to let up off Mr. Floyd. I was staring at his face and his eyes were darting around a lot.
Excellent news! Justice is served.
Hearing the verdicts made me think of The Hughes Corporation.

Don’t drop the soap, baby
Drop the soap!
Don’t you bend over… ♫
He looked like someone who knew his fate.
I assume that since he had bail, he was free prior to all of this. Is he now going to jail for the first time?
Me too. Big sigh of relief. Hoping justice for others killed by overzealous officers is also forth-coming in the future.
He was jailed for quite some time before posting bond on October 7th. Bail was set at $1 million conditional.
I’m pretty sure he was thinking “die, fucker, die”. I was sad he wasn’t charged with murder 1.
He seemed pretty practiced in placing his hands behind his back to be cuffed…
Maybe after cuffing him they shoulda dropped hi to the floor and jumped on his neck.
So who is paying for his defense (and any subsequent appeals)? The Minn Police Assoc? Is that funded by employee contributions, or (as I assume) by the employers?
