Can anyone give me the details of the weapon used in the movie Minority Report which had to be spun around each time before it was fired? I figure the book gave some details about it so if anyone can clue me in, I’d appreciate it.
The ‘book’ was an excellent Phillip K Dick short story, and I believe that particular device was an invention of the filmmakers. 
Dunno about that weapon – but ya gotta love the Sick Stick.

I can confirm that it 'twarn’t in the story.
Vaguly recalling a “Making of…” special, I believe that weapon was sonic-based. After that, your guess is as good as mine.
