The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals charity was formed in 1824. Britain didn’t get round to the National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children for another 60 years. Just saying.
I really don’t think it’s a big deal but overall I’d rather people be like you than simply not care when it comes to animals. I definitely think your heart’s in the right place and for what it’s worth I appreciate that.

As for the culprit, its entirely possible that this is Ernst Stavlo Blofeld’s handiwork. After all, no one would even dream of suspecting him…

Also not sure why this is newsworthy, but at least they’re certain to find it a good home now. Just as well, I suppose.
The perp has owned up! She dyed her cat (named Oi! Kitty) pink to match her hair. The dye is nontoxic. No crime was committed, unless you have a thing against pink cats.
