My daughter likes watching Nickelodeon, which often features music videos between shows. A recent one, “Best Friend’s Brother”, is sung by Victoria Justice. During the chorus of the song, she chants the initials “BFB” (Best Friend’s Brother).
I, of course, did a double-take, because I heard “BFD” (big f***ing deal). :rolleyes:
I used to annoy the heck out of my daughters when they’d be watching That’s So Raven on Nick or Disney or something and the song would play “That’s so Raven! That’s so Raven!” and I’d say, “That’s so mean! Why would they call her Fatso Raven?!” It did pretty much sound like that.
And if the banjo-in’ starts playing different tunes

What the hell does that have to do with a banjo?

I was just listening to the Decemberists album and I heard:
