Miss Cleo ain't got nut-tin on me!

Last night, my husband channel-surfed to Jeopardy last night, and they were having their College Championship. We watched through the double-jeopardy round, then as always they announced the Final Jeopardy category before going to commercial. The category was Young Stars. I turned to my husband and said “And the answer is Julia Stiles” (not worrying about putting it in the form of a question, since I wasn’t playing). He asked me what I meant and I said that I was making a WAG.

So, they come back from commercial and the “answer” was “What young actress has played roles based on Katharina, Ophelia and Desdemona?” I immediately burst out laughing. My husband asked me what I was laughing about, so I told him–It’s Julia Stiles, just like I said! Of course, I was correct, so he tried to send me to the store for lottery tickets, and has proceeded to tell me all last night and this morning that I’m a freak and I scare him!

When I was in a group home, it was common for a few of us to get together and watch the show then guess as to the answer for Final Jeopardy based on the subject before the answer was revealed. During that time, I was the only one to get one right. The subject was Presidents and I said, “Grover Cleveland.” The answer concerened the president who was in office for two non-sequential sessions of Congress.

belladonna walks in and sees the great Madame TroubleAgain clad in flowing velvet robes. The air is thick with pungent smoke and a murky crystal ball sits on the table between them. Behind Madame, colorful tapestries cover the walls and silken scarves are draped randomly about the room…Screwing up her courage, belladonna asks that which has brought her here…

“Um, do you have any change for the phone?”
