If it’s a rule then they need to say so. If other fonts or colours are not permitted, then disable them.
Saying, it’s not a rule but…we’ll enforce it and mod note posters for it at our discretion…is not clarity. Sorry.

I prefer more things to be that way. There are enough jerks on this board who want hard and fast rules simply so they can tap dance around the edges and stick their toe across the line to see how much they can push. So, if someone changes font/color/etc as a one off, like septimus and RobotArm in this thread, no biggee. If someone is going to do it in each and every post they make, they get asked to stop it. The BS about not understanding unwritten board decorum is just that…bullshit.

I thought that was the color of a horse? I looked it up online but they only talk about a brown fox and a lazy dog??? 
Miss Spaulding isn’t using colored text sparingly or on rare occasions. She’s using it in every damn post. That’s why many people find it irritating. As others have pointed out, it’s attention-whoring and her responses to people telling her to knock it off borders on trolling.
That was the thing that confused me. Was she manually setting the font/size/colour for every, I repeat, every, post? That would be seriously impressive.
Or is there a way to set a custom default format for your posts?
It’s not that hard. All the quick settings are right above the post box. Highlight the text, a few clicks and one is done.

Not that impressive. It just requires selecting two things from a pull down menu.
No need even to highlight. You can set your tags first, then type your text in between the opening and closing sets of tags.

(The first time, she was just asking what mole sauce was (a bit over-belligerently for the topic, but…that’s hardly uncommon here), so the green-ink-ness of some of her other posts wasn’t present.)

She just posted a rather disingenuous reply in the ATMB thread about font colors. You see, we’re all the problem. This poor sweet innocent poster comes along and we hurt her widdle feelings. And we’re still all sheeple.
Lol. Oh, don’t worry, my feelings aren’t hurt at all…it takes quite a bit to hurt my feelings of iron. I’m more astounded really at how childish y’all are at being so annoyed by my green font. This must be one boring place if one individual’s posting in green font shakes things up around here.
