Mission Impossible : fallout

I can live with the last second disabling, though that felt cliched in the 1970’s. Heck, it was being goofed about when James Bond disabled the bomb in Goldfinger, leaving 007 seconds left.

I liked it well enough, but I don’t think it was the best of the series; I liked the first one better, for instance. Mostly this one was just a string of silly action sequences, which is fine for a summer movie.

The one thing that confused me a bit was the relationship between John Lark and the Apostles and Solomon Lane. Solomon Lane and John Lark were on the same team, so they were selling plutonium to…themselves? With the White Widow acting as a broker because…reasons?
