I can barely tolerate listening to the man but damn, that was painful to watch. His brain just went on a walk around the block.
If you look at it a second time check the two guys (Senators?) behind him on each side. It takes a couple of seconds but they eventually start looking like they are thinking “Oh shit, is he going to keel over right here!?!”

Just have to express a different opinion. McConnell is one of VERY FEW people I truly wish ill upon. I personally enjoyed seeing his freeze-up, and only hope it is a harbinger of worse to come for him. He deserves far worse.
That seems unremarkable for an 81 year old with lingering problems from polio. My mom started using a wheelchair at airports well before she needed one for anything else.

falls are serious stuff when you are over 70.
this episode looked like, to put in into computer terms, a bit of a crash. it could be as simple as dehydration (that hits people his age really hard), and as complex as brain issues. for sure what ever happened, it will be down played.

I’d imagine that which three names end up on that list would become a war within the Kentucy Republican Party. And Bashear may just be incented to pick the craziest of the three, if he has ambitions to run for Senate himself. . .
Kentucky law requires the Governor to name the replacement within 21 days of receiving the list of three candidates from the party’s executive committee.
But what if he… didn’t? (I imagine there are provisions in the law for governors draggin their feet pass those 21 days, but it’s fun to imagine…)
