In the Twins, Tigers game, the Twins batters have broken 6 bats in six innings so far. What’s the record for the most broken bats by one team in a single, 9-inning game? Is this recorded anywhere?

Considering the danger of broken bat parts impaling someone, is MLB considering a minimum neck size, to cut down on the number of broken bats?
