MLB ballpark. And you tumble onto the playing field.

You have a field level seat, a foul ball rolls up. Reaching for the ball, you accidentally spill onto the playing field.

What happens? They escort you out of the ball park? Ban you for the season? Or for life? Is there a fine?

Do you get to keep the ball?

They usually let that slide, if you make an effort to get back to your seat, and don’t beat up the first base coach.

And it looks like he was allowed to keep the ball.

Or the umpire:

I’ll point out that the Royals won both games. The Sox can’t even manage to do that right!

For a foul ball, they usually let it slide. If it was a fair ball which rolled into foul territory you can expect to be removed from the park no matter how much you protest that you’re sorry.

*Do those come from the original person’s video, or are they targeted at the end user (me) based on what I’ve watched before? I thought the former.

Years ago my buddy hopped the barrier before the game so I could take a photo of him standing near the bullpen.

He was quickly escorted to the security office where he remained throughout the game.
mmm

I vaulted over the fence at Yankee Stadium to join the players on the field before the 1977 All-Star Game. Security told me not to do it again and let me stay and talk to the players.

Of course, I had a press pass…
