It’s long past time for instant replay.
That is a different story. I tend to agree though I dislike the idea of replay I feel the Umps having been doing a crappy job and we might as well expand the replay.
I meant that it would compound a horrible mistake by an ump for the league to go back and award a perfect game. Some are suggesting this including Keith Olberman I found out this morning. (Not that anyone here suggested that idea, but I heard commentators and saw bloggers suggest such last night.)
And that would make 3 Perfect Games in one year, afaik the first time it’s ever happened. And it’s only the beginning of June. Weird year.
BTW, Galarraga was pure class afterwards. Wry smile when the call went against him, not railing against the umpire. Don’t think I could have been so cool about it. Seems like a great guy.
