MLB meets WWF

CNN was showing the video this morning of what happened and it was what it was. A player acting like a complete moron by starting a fight with a person in the audience. Nothing condonable about that…

…then CNN had a blurb from the guy whose wife got hit. This guy was the heckler. After hearing him rambling on about how frightened they got (in what sounded, IMO, a lot like a prelude to over-litigation if there ever was one) I kinda wanted to throw a chair at him too. *That doesn’t excuse the player, of course.

So that’s where the Raiders fans are during the week. :wink:

::ducks and runs::

No argument from me. I’m just filing this in my “I’d rather jab steak knives into both thighs then support either side on this” file, along with MLB players vs. MLB owners, Michael Jackson vs. opportunistic greedbag parents, pathetic brain-dead antismoking PSMs vs. tobacco industry, WWE vs. WWE’s critics, Democrats vs. Republicans, federal goverment vs. Microsoft, etc.

Incidents like this are why I’ve sworn a long time ago to never, ever turn into an insanely diehard sports fan of any stripe.
