I managed to make it to the A’s game today. Absolutely incredible. An early lead, a comeback then blasting past a team that seemed to forget they’re going to the playoffs. Culminating in taking the West. The crowd was fantastic and the energy in that stadium was just amazing. You could tell these players were even having fun, just like they have been all year. Their fun just put them in a really great position in October.
O’s just lost as Ichiro knocked in runs 11 & 12.

So it appears the Yanks head to either Texas or Baltimore on Sunday.
Miguel Cabrera just won the first Triple Crown since 1967. Pretty awesome.
When was the last time the Yanks were 2 full games up on the O’s? It seems like they spent most of the last month either tied or no more than a game and a half apart.
