GO CUBS!!!
Houston in 4.
GO CUBS!!!
Well… I would think that by definition most people don’t hit well against first tier pitchers and pitchers having a great game.
Thank goodness they’re not sending Gio out to pitch the 4th.
Is it just me or is bringing in a starter like Scherzer on very short rest an idiotic idea?
Let the record show I posted this before this half of the inning started.
Wow. When it rains it pours. That throw to first was a huge mistake.
I admit, I thought the Yankees could give the Tribe a scare but I didn’t see them taking three straight. Tough loss for the Indians and the window of opportunity might be closing. I think the Yankees lineup will love playing in Houston - not sure the pitchers will love pitching there. Should be a good series.
As for the NL division series…well, Dusty’s at it again. I’m sorry, but as much as I like Dusty as a regular season manager, he’s one of the worst post season managers ever. I think players love the guy and love playing for him, and he can get away with making gut decisions over the course of a long season with a talented team in a weak division, but put the guy in a one-and-done game and he melts.
hard to put a dropped third strike- error- catcher’s interference - hit by pitch on the manager.
It’s easy to put the hit batsman on the manager when he made a risky choice of pitcher.
It’s a jinx. It must be a jinx.
The Cubs might escape Washington, but their pitching staff is gonna be wrecked if they do.
How on Earth is that a legal slide? Clearly leg whipped him.
I really hate these reviews of how long a tag is on compared to how long the runner is definitively on the base. I wish MLB would take these out of the possibility of review.
And the run that scores on this play is the difference in the game. National fans should be infuriated.
I didn’t watch the game for the sake of my blood pressure, but Go Cubs! Time to check out the highlights.
A lot of infuriating things happened in that game. Right now, I’m just exhausted. I’ll be infuriated tomorrow…
Wild game. Dammit, Nats, they made so many mistakes they were fortunate to be in it right to the end. But DAMN!!! they screwed the pooch tonight.
Go Cubs! Beat dem bums.
And go Astros!
Anyone think that Dusty may have just mismanaged his way out of Washington D.C? This loss has to sting for the suits, and the fans.
I think he’ll stay. I hope so!
CUBBIE WUBBIE WUBBIES!
We got us a rematch. How ya feeling, Clayton? Jittery?
