in any case, I’m pissed at this situation because it impacted me financially - nothing I won’t bounce back from, but shit, it still stings. No risk, no reward, right? But with each successive run, it felt more and more like a kick in the nuts. And shit, I LIKED the Nats this season - I still like them. I just felt the smart money was on the Astros (and at home, no less). Game 1 had me convinced they would be fighting doubly hard tonight, and obviously it was closer besides. Game 2 demonstrated to me that they are fucked. No more throwing good money after bad.

I won’t lie, I feel good. That was a tight game into the 7th, I thought it might go into extra innings and I figured whoever won, would do so by 1 run. It was just waiting to see who cracked first and boy did they crack.
I don’t want to jinx it, but it is looking pretty good for Washington now. Houston used their two best starting pitchers, at home, and lost both games.
Yesterday was the biggest margin of victory in a WS games since Kansas City beat San Fransisco 10 - 0 in 2014 (game 6).
Not looking good, that’s for sure. If the Greinke trade is going to pay off, it will have to be now.
