MLB: Post-Season 2019

Interesting, but your link refutes your claim:

Verlander is really laboring. Hard to see him getting through 6 at this rate.

As I was saying

I like Martinez’s passion, and I agree he got cheated out of a run, but why get ejected now?

I’m sure they don’t care, and in fact are delighted with the publicity. They’re Instagram models who evidently did it to publicize the digital magazine SHAGMAG. They claim some of the proceeds will go to breast cancer research. I’m skeptical about the last bit, but they’re definitely not taking it very hard.

Good news is, I think we got a game 7 and I don’t care who wins, I love game sevens. It’s the greatest game in all of sports. 162 games + 5 games + 7 games + 6 games: after a month of spring training, and after 180 games, it comes down to these final 27 outs.

Whatever happens, congrats Astros and Nats, and thank you both for giving us the big one.

Fuck the umps. We’ll win in spite of them.

I have to say, going back to 2014, the Nats have been jobbed by the umps more than any franchise I can recall. They got totally hosed by the umps against the Giants in 2014. The umps have been trying to hose them again.

Do not place too much faith in the Washington bullpen. Their competence is insignificant compared to the power of their choke.

Wanted to add two more thoughts:

  1. Soto is another Pujols - and maybe better. The real deal.

  2. I like this Zimmerman guy. He just goes in and does his job, and he’s been with the team for ever.

Game 7 means that I get maximum baseball.

Six outs.

How hard can it be?

See, I’m just joshin wit ya. I’m enjoying the fact that I’m talking with REAL NATS FANS. I know they do exist!

And possibly, a world championship!

You guys beat my redbirds. I guess the Cards channeled their energy to you because with one exception I’ve never seen the Cardinals win an easy series. Except for 2006, they win big series in 7 games, right down to the wire.

Your turn for a heart attack, heh heh.

I like the decision to keep Strasburg out there, but I hope they got a guy warmin it up.

Man, I hope they let Strasburg pitch the ninth. It’s not like he needs to hold anything back for his next start.

Time for that Greinke trade to pay some more dividends I guess.

Here’s my solution to deal with interference at first base:

Righthanded players cannot play first base.

It’s weird and unnatural, and would eliminate 90% of these calls.

Okay, 3 runs was vaguely possible but 5 is pretty much over.

Game 7. It’s on!

Cautionary note to Nats fans: Astros dropped game 6 against LA in 2017 and recovered the next night like nothing happened and won game 7.

But who knows, maybe the road field advantage is a thing!

Zimmerman is a class guy, he played his best years when the Nats sucked. He never moaned, he never bitched, he just played his guts out.
