Lead for the Royals!
The Os will regret not scoring last inning, probably.
I’m finding it nice just to be watching a game where I can root for everyone.

4-0 Royals. On a broken bat.
Well, that was not a good inning for the Orioles.
Need some offense now.
Leadoff double should help.
ETA: And Orioles on the board.
And Moustakas
Flies out to Markakis.
Baltimore has uuuugly batting helmets.
I’ll admit the styling is awful, but the logo is so cute!
Aaaaand … baseball!
OK, that’s better. Back to within a run. Good inning there for the Birds.
This is looking promising. Runners at 2nd and 3rd with no-one out.
Edit:
Wow, a bloop RBI single that didn’t even make it past second base. Game tied!
What probably should have been a DP results in 1st and 3rd with one out, followed immediately by a DP.
I think baseball needs to address the issue with the blurred line between “keeping the tag on” and “actively pushing/lifting the sliding runner off the base”. I hate that it seems that replay has forced umpires to call that out now, where they used to use a little judgement. The call on the Royals runner coming off the base in the top of the 7th should have been a no-call IMHO.
I noticed in the ALDS and the play in game (I think) that the Royals runners have a tendency to overslide the bases. I don’t think this one was on the defender. It was no Kent Hrbek/Ron Gant moment (still makes me angry).
WTF, Britton?
Aww. Why did you have to bring that up? Still pisses me off, all these years later.
Wow, three straight walks and bases loaded with no outs, and the Orioles managed to get out of the inning without giving up a run.
That was a whole lot of awesome baseball.
I kinda wanna see the Orioles play the Giants on Halloween.
Kansas City in extra innings? That’s unpossible!
And it looks like KC might take it in extras again.
I was “watching” but not watching for most of that inning. He was getting squeezed like crazy on the fourth batter. Three of those pitches were strikes! Close, but strikes. Was it like that earlier in the inning?
