Cubsfan, I missed your earlier message. I don’t tend to play online, and I tend to be on the phone a lot while I’m playing, but if I get some truly free time, I will definitely try to connect with you. Just be gentle. 
Just wanted to update and say I’ve been playing this alot and the controls are much easier now. I use Rookie settings which may be why. I am finding that once my pitcher loses his mojo he never gets it back.
Additionally, has anyone else noticed that the requirements for alot of the trophies are pretty insane? I’m not a gamerscore/trophy dude, but I like to unlock stuff when I can but there are some pretty insane requirements for a game that only depends about 25% on the player and the rest on AI and sim.
The game glitches have gotten annoying. I had been warned and briefly benched earlier in the 2011 season for ignoring orders not to attempt any more steals on my own. So I was only stolen when instructed to. Well, the other day, I was told to steal second, so I did, but I got caught in a rundown. I ended up making it to second safely. The game neither canceled my goal nor told me I’d been successful, and in the past, that had meant that I was still under orders to try to steal. So I tried to steal third, and was thrown out. I ended up getting benched for three f’in weeks.
