MMP - GT's Airport Adventures or, Paris-CDG, an airport that comes with a manual

your use of the word **Harrumph ** offends my ladylike sensibil…

nope sorry couldn’t finish typing that with a straight face

Draelin I would say I was offended as well that it was your last day of the week but you have to move this weekend and deal with cable companies & closing and the rest of that so I am not in the least bit upset that I have to work this weekend I love my job I love my job I love my job I love my job I love my job

Today is the last day of my ‘weekend’, so I’m offended that the rest of you don’t have to work this weekend.
eleanor, some of this cleaning hasn’t happend since OQD’s visit in December. There are enormous growling bust bunnies under my furniture. You don’t want me in charge of your housework.

On the other hand, I am willing to be bribed in Trader Joe’s goods. Or I could ship Quasi-Daughter. She came over on Firday evening and organized my fridge and pantry, did all the dishes, polished my sink, and cleaned the counter. While humming happily. And then we watched *Firefly[i/]. She said it was all enormously relaxing. She is seriously screwed up, but I really, really don’t want her to get better.

There’s a sort of lentil/tikka masala sauce/spinach soup stew thingy in the crockpot. If I feel adventurous I’ll make naan.

anyrose: How do you feel about “Pish Posh”? Any better? Maybe “Well, I never!” Oh, no, I got it! “Heavens to Mergatroid!” (I have no idea how to really spell that, so I went phonetically.)

Bust Bunnies

funniest typo this week!

Thank you all for being offended, it just makes my day.

I went to Target at lunch (going only $41 over the required Target Cover Charge), and did my best to get somebody in trouble for locking their dog in the car while they shopped. The security guard did not look like he cared much. The dog didn’t look like it was suffering, but it still pissed me off.

But I got one of those laser measurey things, so that went a long way towards cheering me up.

Do you feed them beer and cockies?

Once Drae gets settled in, let’s all go crash her bell tower! It’ll be fun! Cool Kids party at Drae’s!

We have a fundraising event coming up in two weeks. I’m so excited. I’ve been getting items for the silent auction end of it. Today I got two baby strollers. Apparently they are high end baby strollers. What do I know from baby strollers? I’m hoping to score some cool stuff from the local Harley dealership since I know the owners. I mean, it won’t be like a big ol’ Hawg, but stuff like a leather cap or vest or helmet would be cool. I also scored us a gift cerficate for a month’s worth of tanning at a local tanning bed place along with a basket of tanning stuff. Oh, and local restaurants, caterers and so forth will be competing that night with their best chocolate desserts. There are trophies for best taste and best presentation. It’s called “The Chocolate Classic.” I’ll be making and serving coffee that night as well as pouring milk. There will also be champagne. I get to wear an apron and a chef’s hat. Won’t I be cute!

I thought only I got those.

How about “Oh Piffle”

Bust Bunnies… I think that’s one of Dali’s lesser known works, is it not?

Tomorrow is my last day at work for the week. It’ll be major suck-o too. We have a meeting in the morning where we all get together and share our thoughts on what direction we’d like to go with our website. Gah! I just know they’re gonna want spinning logos and other pointless animation. And then… oh never mind, it’s just too horrible to even think about.

I’m told that I’m having fish for supper, batter fried Friday fish night style. Yummy! Tarter sauce on anything breaded makes me very happy. I don’t have any of the tradition side dish stuff around so I guess I’ll just have a side of tarter sauce and a spoon.

Band name!

I am late today because I just got hooked up with a new mac. Since I’ve been using a PC, this will be a big learning curve for an old bag like me.

Plus I gots lots of work to do today.

Hi, rue! Well, whadya know, this time it was pee pee comin outta a cat.

I have this image of limp rabbits draped over buxom women … mildly disturbing.

Oh, that’s a different one. This one has limp breasts dripping over the side of furnature ummm, in the dessert.

that spelling works for me. But you must say with proper Snaggletooth inflection!

Snaggletooth. Check.

Puggy amuses me with the “old bag” comment. I actually laughed out loud.

Did I write two lidded pot? It’s actually the second lidded pot I made, and yes, the lid comes off. The thing is, it can only go back on one way, and even then, it wobbles. I need to work on my lid technique. Next session…

Tonight, we’re going to buy (order?) our new reclining love seat. And while we’re out, we’ll get some dinner. Not a bad way to end the day. So we can finally get the blue and brown striped sofa out of the family room. Dunno where it’ll go - the sofa in the living room is destined for Florida after the kid gets her new apartment. In the meantime, we’ll have one sofa too many.

I think that’s all I’ve got for now…

Heh, I knew it wouldn’t take long for your to come up with the newbie [del]junk[/del] welcome gift.

Glad to oblige. Oh, I didn’t tell ya. My new computer comes with a Internet camera. Sadly, old bag is tres appropos. :frowning:

So, that begs the question–what IS a second lidded pot? I like the glaze on it and the size and shape.

Bust bunnies and Firday! I love it, Lisslar --is Firday the day they get beer and cockies?

I am back from my meeting, and will do the last practice exam after I collect various chillrun from diverse areas around town.

Everyone wish me luck! (please?)

I made a lidded pot. Then I made another lidded pot. The second lidded pot is not the one I made first!

Luck Luck Luck Luck Luck!!! Do good or you won’t be one of the Cool Kids any more!

(no pressure there, huh?)
Seriously - good luck to you. Relax. And never change an answer unless you’re absolutely, positively certain that you made a mistake. Most of the time, your first instinct is correct. Trust me - I know!
