Howdy Y’all! I’ve been a productive bear this mornin’. I have lived through a video conference and gotten a buncha paperirk done. Go Me! Now it’s N.O.L. time and then dive back into paperirk for a while.

It’s a rainy day, much like Saturday. That is all because I washed the truck Friday. 
I have 10 pieces glazed (OK, 2 of them need some clear glaze on the outside, but that’s easy.) I started the 11th piece, and I’ll finish that later. I did a load of whites, and they’re all clean, dried, folded, and half put away. I don’t put FCD’s stuff away because I don’t know how he likes his clothes stored. I’m about to make a quick run to Food Lion, then back to finish the big egg platter - it’s going to be white with yellow indents for the eggs. Kinda like a gigantic, multiple-yolked sunny-side up egg!

I timed my trip to Food Lion just right. Shortly after I got home and unpacked the truck, the sky opened!! It’s pouring down rain - we even had a thunderboomer!
My replacement pantsuit came - apparently they’re all made with the under-tunic inside-out. So I’m returning it with a pissy letter. OK, not too pissy, but they know I’m not happy.
Dammit. It was such a pretty color. It would have been perfect. Instead, it sucks.
Howdy Y’all! I am officially done with irk for the day. YAY! Now I shall assume chill mode until time to go over to the church house. Also, ‘tis rainin’. I somehow missed that little detail in the forecast. The weather PTB say rain/tstorms/apocalypse the rest of the day and all evenin’. We shall see.

Oh, the shame! It is one thing for the elderly, who are retired to fritter their life away at home, but we young and able people, who have important things to do in our lives, must sit at our toil and hear of you boast about your leisure suit! Er, time!

I am toiling away from home today. Kid 1 is sick. Kid 2 has no school. I haz migraine (since last Weds - curse you family genes!!!).
Teh aminals think irk from home iz the awesome. I have 1 dog and 2 cats on the bed with me while I am typing away. I giant dog immediately where I put my feet down, so there’s no escaping. Scaredy cat is, as usual, hiding.
Otherwise, I am back from La-La land unscathed. No trips for irk planned for a while. Fired someone. Hired someone. It’s been busy. I never fired someone before, so that was not fun.
The trailer folks finally left (YAY). Only took 2 months.

For the record, Hamburger Helper Hashbrowns suck. So don’t bother trying them.
The sun is out after our deluge. **FCD **said it didn’t rain down in Great Mills (which isn’t all that great despite the name.) But the plants on the porch got a good drink, so I don’t have to take a pitcher out there.
We got the title for the on-sale bike - it took less than a week! And we got another call about it - one guy was looking at it yesterday. So maybe it’ll get a new home yet. Fingers crossed.

Irk was not too irksome for a Moanday and I did get a lot done. Don’t know yet what will be for supper. I guess I should start thinking about it.
I killed a cockroach with a jackhammer today. Seems a tad overkill, but when you’re holding a 60lb Bosch hammer all your problems start to look like 8" reinforced concrete walls.

License renewed, State ID acquired, missing documents found (even though I didn’t need them it would drive me crazy until I found them).
I was worried about the vision test but passed it with no problem.
I need to find a nice way to deal with people parking on my parking pad. I probably shouldn’t go all Baltimore City on them. The neighbor who doesn’t share my house has a garage and no place to park as the garage goes almost right up to the alley. The house has two rental and the friends of the tenants seem to think my pad is public property.
Part of me says just be nice and neighborly, the other part says they have a lot of nerve and need an ass-kicking. Probably a middle ground in there some where.
