Well, Wiki wanted to work it this week, but the clock is ticking so I’ll get it going. Unfortunately, I don’t have a topic for pre-hijack so you can just steer this wherever you desire.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 53 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 80 for the day and sunny. Weather be weird again. Today is my last day off so I plan on doin’ ummm… very little. Makin’ dindin is the biggest item on the agenda.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. I suppose I should commence purtification at some point as well.

I’ve been in the office for almost 90 minutes, and except for one little bit of work leftover from Firday, I got nothing. It’s gonna be a long day… At least this is my short week. Gotta call my car guys and arrange for an oil change on my day off. That’ll kill 3 or 4 minutes…

Blurf. Did not sleep well last night and generally Don Twanna today. First thing this morning I had to go to a pre-meeting about a meeting on Wednesday. Apparently something has been demo’d to another team that will involve us, but we haven’t seen it and the meeting on Wednesday is to tell us about it. So today’s meeting was to discuss possible responses to Wednesday’s meeting…when we still have no idea what we’re going to be looking at. Pointless, definitely.

It’s cold and clear. I know because I got a big banging on my door at 7am. USPS delivering a package. It was cold opening the door.
Today’s agenda includes putting away the things we brought home from the armpit and a trip to the grocery store. It’s also the countdown to the end of the semester, he has 12 things to do within 13 days. Only four of them require proof reading, three require a drive to the college. Unless he is willing to take all his finals on the same day, which I doubt. Actually, he can’t because one final is due before the other two become available. One he can take from home, so that is a good thing.
I think go back to bed for a few and then get up and get busy.

Actually had a nice Thanksgiving up at my brother’s, he was more communicative than in the past and we had some good talk (we’re close but not close, if that makes sense). Becky did the turkey dinner proud, and I took them out to eat on Saturday night to thank them.
Fulfilled my quest. For 55 years my favorite lunchmeat was Oscar Meyers Braunsweiger. However, about 4 months ago the stores down here stopped carrying it, and I didn’t care for the subsitutions. Well, St. Louis stores still carry it, it turns out, so I came home with a 3-month supply of the liver sausage that made me the man I am today (60 lbs. overweight).
Rained for 320 of my 420 mile trip home yesterday, and the roads were crowded, but only saw one minor accident (lots of dead deer, though).
Now I need to do the December shopping and get the Xmas cash. Rain is expected here through Wednesday. Blurf.
Up, and caffeinated, closing shift tonight. It’s 50 and rainy, so no long dog walk today.
Bleah. DH’s snoring made sleep a problem, then he managed to have his alarm go off at 0300, an hour before he planned to and two hours before mine. We’re planning to leave around 0630 today (half-hour offset on our shifts, so we’re commuting together today).

Well, I have Monday and Tuesday off, for vacation days.
I have to stay up lat tonight, to midnight, because the 2016 Celebrity Death Pool thread opens tonight. I’m thinking of changing all my choices for this year. For 2016, for no particular reason, I went with all astronauts and cosmonauts. Given my luck some sort of Space Cowboy mission will be pulled in 2016, and the whole crew would be lost.
swampbear, are you going to just recycle your 2015 list or are you going to change things up?
Didn’t sleep well either, but managed to get up on time and pack Kid 2 onto the bus and off to school. Kid 1 will be leaving shortly with her dad.
We had a generally good Thanksgiving at my sister’s. Then saw everyone again last night for my birthday dinner.
Other than that, 'tis frosty and cold out. I may celebrate by crawling back into bed as soon as everyone’s gone.

I haven’t been given anything to do yet today. Doesn’t help that I had a bad night, so I’m fighting to stay awake. And I’ve still got 5 hours to go…

Thanks for the heads-up. I’m going to change things around some and go with all sick people and politicians; my actual hope being that the latter group dies first and most.

I slept like a baby last night. I woke up every two hours, wet myself, and cried. 
I made Italian breakfast wraps(bacon, scrambled eggs with tarragon, basil ,and oregano, Asiago and Parmesan cheese). I was gonna use the left over dinner rolls, but they were alarmingly fuzzy.
I actually have accomplished sump’n this mornin’. I spiffed up da cave a bit. Go Me!
