How can you put GF:III on the list? It doesn’t belong in the same category as the first two. I don’t know which is worse, Al Pacino’s overacting or Sophia Coppola’s…Sophia Coppola. I think it’s a crime that GF:I & II aren’t available on DVD after all these years.

Though it’s not without its flaws and overlong I like Casino.

Padeye, I just read the book Casino on the plane. Great read, true story. Check it out - Nicholas Pileggi, who also brought us the story behind GoodFellas.
I agree GFIII is a trifle overacted. But I like it mostly because of Andy Garcia. The guy was great in his role.
I’ll agree with that. I just think it belong further down the list…probably with Casino. Andy Garcia was great but I’m a bit more reserved on Joe Mantegna’s acting. It was good but his Fat Tony character on The Simpsons has almost turned it into a self parody.
