Moderator issued personal insult.

I have no dog in the fight at all, but I feel privileged to be among the first to say pfffffftHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I would also like to point out that “peter” is slang for “penis” so I’m lodging a complaint that you’re using obscene language every time you post; it’s up there at the top in big letters.

Woowoo, hooha, whatEVer.

My apologies: I didn’t read this moderator note before I posted my quotations from the Urban Dictionary.

Trim, jelly roll, vajayjay…

 Why don’t you two just come out and say it already… CU… uhhh, never mind.

Ellen, just warn yourself and let’s move on.

6/18/2010 was recent. I don’t know if it was “the last” time.

And yeah–I still stand by what I said there.

Damn you Cyningablod! :: shakes fist ::

I’ve been saying this for a while now: If you do it it’s a “personal insult.” If a mod does it it’s not a “personal insult.” The double standards on this board that benefit the mods are ridiculously unfair and stupid as hell.

It’s also ridiculously stupid to have people like Marley23 and twickster, who obviously don’t even know the definition of “personal,” adjudicating what is and isn’t a “personal insult.” As Marley’s dumbass once said to me in a PM:

“twickster already explained this: you don’t need to identify anyone by name [for it to be a personal insult]”

Odd! I thought that was what differentiated a “personal insult” from a plain old “insult:” that it be directed against someone personally, hence the “personal” part.

You are aware that personal insults are not permitted in About This Message Board. Do not do this again.

Wow, a mod who actually knows what “personal insult” means!

There’s hope for this board yet. Marley and twickster take note!

I think if anyone’s ass can send its own PMs, it is patently NOT a “dumbass.”

I’m starting to sense an upcoming “Suicide by Mod”. Anyone else getting that impression?

Does it, egad!

Must be a British English thing, or maybe non-North American English thing. I guess it’s the reverse of the C-bomb. You can’t use that here, but you can certainly say woo.

Hey, Marley, it seems that Spectre of Pithecanthropus has chosen to disregard your instructions in post #39? Are you going to give him a warning for it?

I have no doubt that if I answered his question, you’d be warning me, right? Is it different rules for mods?

Spectre, check your PMs.

Yeah, except which one will go first?

That’s what’s making this so much fun to watch. Care to make a bet?

It won’t be Peter Morris. I get the impression he’d much rather hang around for a long, long time, just to take every opportunity to let us know how oppressed he is by pretty much everyone, especially the Mods.

Maybe I shouldn’t have said that, though… Does sarcasm count as “hate speech”?

Worthwhile point, and one I agree with. To nitpick slightly, though, there’s a fourth reason for “Cite?” which I and I think you also have used before – “I believe what you’re saying and agree with it, but would like further information and/or evidence to present elsewhere.”
