I was reminded of this thread by another post. And I reread the OP.

I feel this kind of proposal would put the Democrats (in the nature of full disclosure I am an extremely liberal Democrat) on the spot big time. They would have to choose between their buddies in the union or importing more knee-jerk Democratic voters.

I’m still confused. What exactly does the “$75 … Or fixing hurricane damage” mean? Do other extremely liberal Democrats agree with JBGUSA that unions, while necessary to fix hurricane damage if we assume OP’s 1st paragraph is sensical, are a major problem today?

And what’s with importing knee jerks for the votes? It takes a while before wetbacks are even allowed to vote. I only wish our politicians planned that far ahead. :rolleyes:

So you’re a dog-lover with onerous student loans. I used to have a cat and got a tax rebate once. Does that make me an extremely right-wing Republican?

The victimization of Jews has been among the most systematic of any group. I think Jews and blacks need to pull together again, as Martin Luther King eloquently urged. And I think minority leaders need to deal with their own community problems and focus less on inanimate symbols such as statues and problems of the past such as the history of slavery and racism.

Like others, I wondered what the Debate is here. Was it just a chance for JBGUSA to show off his extreme liberalism? He’s seen Fiddler on the Roof and thinks MLK was eloquent? Many of those calling for removal of racist statues were white; are those whites in a “minority”? Which minority is that? Certainly not “extremely liberal Democrat” since that’s what JBGUSA is. He even voted for Clinton!

What is wrong with other people doing what the Jews doe regarding education, family structures, etc.? More important whould we subsidize the drug use, truancy and pregnancies of other cultures or call it what is is, social pathology?
