ummmmmmmm…vicodin. Take three and maybe you still have the headache, but do you care?
I believe you are a demon!
You have created an invisible thread. I tried to find it by searching on the word “Column” in the header, and the search couldn’t find it.
Then I tried searching for “Column” in the message and still it didn’t appear.
So I tried “Naziesque” and it only found another thread of YOURS.
So, what do I get as a reward? Ruplestiltskin gave out golden thread for unmasking his secret.
And, when I looked in my profile, it said this:

<> is a <> **
Welcome to the wonderful world of the Straight Dope Search Engine! You must not have performed the chicken sacrifice properly–you have to sprinkle the cayenne pepper BEFORE you say the magic words.
Search won’t find a keyword AND a user name at the same time. It has some mysterious criterion that it uses, whereby it will Search for EITHER a keyword OR a user name, but not both at the same time, and no peeking.
I put in “naziesque” just now, with the Pit specified, “entire message” and “last 5 days” and up it came. But that’s just because I knew about the pepper thing…
[Rumpelstiltskin who screamed and vanished in a puff of smoke when the young queen guessed his name? Hey, she traded her ring, shoes, and firstborn child for that golden thread.]
I think the reason the search works now is that you have added “Column” and “Naziesque” to this thread by posting them without << marks >>
As you’ll notice in the Profile you describe, the system has removed everything inside the outer < marks >.
This is done to prevent the search from picking up all the HTML created everytime someone posts a url or subscript.
Of course, in fairness, only a demon would title a thread with << marks >>
Bump
Because the OP and the lists are so damnned apt – thanks, Scylla, I’m still laughing.

Another bump
This may be useful.
So, let’s see, in Col A we’ve got 21, B: 12, C: 14, D: 16 and in E: 18.
So, for the further refinement and ease of use, if you consider that we have a total of 1,016,064 variations, it’s a simple matter to, rather than go through all that laborious typing of words, just post your number!
Fer instance:
would be #1. From here, I’m sure you’ll have no problems working out the rest.
I like this thread, since I’ve been meaning to say 1,549, 769,002 and 42,042 for a while, anyway, so now you know.
ROTFLMAO! That was hysterical! I missed it the first time around, so thanks for bumping it. Too funny…
::off to save and print this one::
Damn…I thought I would be the first to catch that.
Dont forget the one about the godzilla farts
For column C, add: “a trained statistician”
(who remembers that one?)
I do, Jill. Thanks to statistics, we can finally prove that AIDS research isn’t financially useful. Hurrah, Wilson!
This reminds me of something Opal set up ages ago:

Ooh!! I love Mad Libs!
I’m pretty sure you meant to say Mod Libs.
