Well yeah , and the scar is an excellent place for the skin cancer to get started, and hidden by the scar over the top , get to a serious stage before its noticed.
Its worse than that.
The scar is not a good thing to have, especially where the individual is well protected from sunburn by pigment…
If its in an area exposed to the sun alot, the scar can be white or poorly pigmented, hence unprotected and get sunburn lots, and get skin cancer in it… Its the same thing with hiding the cancer there, its hard to see the cancer because of the scar … it just looks like the scar has grown a little or got bruised or something.
Conclusion… Don’t do your own skin surgery and create large strange scars.
