Heartless. It’s been a long, shitty day, and then I learn about this crap. Ugh. At this point, it could be smallpox for all I care. And I’m not even vaccinated against that. The sad fact is that at some point, these people are going to pay for their actions, and it’s not until some major event happens that they’ll finally get the fucking picture. You’re right, what I said was out of line (not as out of line as some of the other things I’ve said on the topic, I’ll tell you that much…), but god damn these people need to feel the consequences of their actions.

Unless the Evil Pharma Gremlins hijacked my computer, BPC’s link goes to something called the “Epoch Times”.
Their article features the usual parade of antivax idiots like Polly Tommey, the U.K.'s B-actress answer* to Jenny McCarthy and a devoted follower of Andrew Wakefield.
Despite proclamations of “revolution” and earth-shattering significance, the CDC non-scandal seems to have gotten the major media attention it deserves, which is very little. It will live on forever in antivax fantasy-land, though.
*I may be overrating her, um, talents.
The Epoch Times is the news organ of Falun Gong, which is an emerging religion or spiritual practice, so perhaps not the most scientifically rigorous source. The article references the anti-vaxer response to a CNN piece that cited studies showing no connection between vaccines and autism.
