Monday, Monday, da da da dada dada MMP

Chikin nachos have been ingested. I haven’t had an Arby’s sammich in years. I used to love their roast beast sammiches and the N.O.T. things they have. Mayhaps a visit to Arby’s shall be in order soon.

Quiet day at the Crow household. Scrub Jay is off down at the antique mall where we maintain a small space. I know I should get out too, but, meh!

The sky is starting to cloud up but it’s still pretty clear around Mount Rainier, with a couple stacked lenticular clouds hanging around just to the north. I’d have a postcard view of the mountain out of my narrow bedroom window if it weren’t for one building blocking part of the base.

I’m hoping to see something like this, this winter, if I can get my sleepy (aka lazy) self up early enough to see it. My youngest sister, who lives across the bay, has gotten a few pictures like it. With the bay in the foreground it makes quite a sight.

I know I should get myself out of the house for a while, especially since it doesn’t look like rain in the next few hours, but, again, meh.

Busy day for me. Just checking in here in between the two big events of today - craft sale and party. Craft sale was quite successful!

Must rush off soon.

Random items have been ingested for supper. I’m thinking it’s time to assume the recline position and continue making little afghan squares. Because that’s my life…

MWAH!***

Evenin’ all.

Back from irk; today’s was a real ale festival, very laid back and the rain stayed away, after a morning where it looked like drowning was a real possibility. Not that I saw a whole lot of the morning- I only finished irk at 3 am last night, then had to get up to collect my wages at 9 (naturally I can’t get paid in a reasonable manner). Accordingly I just went straight back to bed when I got my filthy lucre.

I have not told Dodgy Boss about the new gig, he can find out if he offers me irk that clashes. If I tell him I have something else he’ll use that as an excuse to offer me even fewer shifts, if that’s possible. Hopefully I can find a few more hours elsewhere as well soon, and I can drop this joke of a company for good.

Just had some Mrs. Edward’s Lemon Meringue Pie. Don’t worry, we didn’t steal Mrs. Edward’s pie. She offers them for sale at the sto’.

I am considerin’ a melatonin and sleepy time. I feel tahrd and maybe with a melatonin I’ll sleep the whole night.

Niters!

Ran some errand, walked Gordie. Now I’m watching hockey. Life is good.

I like the roast beast, too. With the horseradish sauce. And now I have Pink Floyd stuck in my head.

Good luck with the new job, Nut.

Not nearly as cold this morning as yesterday - a temporary reprieve. Stoopit winter.

Pre-departure home stretch - I need to talk to MIL today to ensure we’ve got our menu stuff coordinated. And I need to do some laundry and get the key to the kitteh sitter. And I’m going to bake another batch of ginger snaps from another recipe - sans cloves. And plants need to be watered. And probably a whole bunch of other stuff, even tho we’ll be gone less than a week. ugh.

But until **FCD **gets up, I’ve got some quiet time to surf and stuff.

Happy Sunday!

Those sound delicious. I may need to make some myself.

Awake since 4 am with steroid-related insomnia. Yay, asthma meds! May try more sleeping now. Or toast and then sleep.

waves to MMP crowd

I reads, I lurks, now I posts.

Good Morin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 46 Amurrkin out with a high of 72 for the day and sunny.

Not much on the agenda today. We will, of course, deheathenate. Today is the day we are supposed to turn in our pledges for next year so’s a budget can be created. We shall go pledge cards in hand to place in the Alms Basin. Pretty mundane, but it takes money to keep the doors open. Also, steak, twiced baked N.O.T. and sallit for N.O.L. Sallit is made, the N.O.T. just need to be warmed up and the steaks grilled. Easy and tasty like the way I like my men.

Wabbit hope you were able to go back to sleep.

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence at some point.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Apparently Mumpers are all in the slug mode this morning. As for me, I’m showered, dressed, fed, and I’ve got a load of t-shirts in the washer. Go me!

Sunday blurfage

I’m up, I’m up.

Up, caffeinated, and off to work.

It twas even colder than that when I got up & left at un-Oggly hour for irk-outside morning (in Rosieville) but it warmed up quickly once the sun came up.

I keep sunglasses in my car, but since I only drove far enough to usual meeting spot & then friend drove remainder of the way, they stayed there all day keeping the car from squinting. :smack:

Aren’t you just a wee bit old for fraternity life???

Yeah, well, I was up really late last night at a party. And I didn’t even stay until the end of the party. Yeah, partying with a bunch of young’uns. Darned whippersnappers who can stay up much later than an old fart like me. :stuck_out_tongue:

By Og, the US SnailMail does deliver on Sunday. Got a package containing Christmas presents that I ordered Firday.

Woke me up, too. Back to Sunday slugfest…

Oooh! Whadja buy me?

It’s Sunday!

Both pooches have been brushed and purtified as well as the human. Now I need a nap.

Matching tomahawks. :dubious:
