Would Alex have BMS’ed me? I think I might have frozen and said something stupid like "wooden nickel. In my opinion, my response is correct as it stands and is technically more correct than the official one. After all, the Indian Head nickel didn’t just feature that composite picture from 1913 to 1938. It still does in 2013!!! Check any Indian Head nickel you can get your hands on if you don’t believe me. The nickel, though, i.e. the US 5-cent coin, only featured that picture from 1913 to 1938.

No, you’re not the only one. The answer, “buffalo head nickle” was not really correct. I have a small collection of these, accumulated by my grandfather who began saving them after they went out of production. I have only ever heard them called “buffalo nickles”. According to Wikipedia, “Indian head nickle” was also used. I can find no reference to “buffalo head nickle”.

No, she guessed that several seeds of a particular kind measured one centimeter, even though the clue specifically referred to a metric unit of weight. In other words, she was either confused or just not paying attention.

No, you’re not the only one. The answer, “buffalo head nickle” was not really correct.
