Hear, hear. I always enjoy reading her posts - they might not always be cheerful but they are candid. No bullshit, no excuses.

I’d say about half the time I scroll up to see who wrote the brilliant, insightful, clearly written post I just read, monstro’s name appears. And everything she’s posted about herself makes me strongly suspect that she’s even cooler in person. Exhibit A: Her hobby is making awesome art and then giving it away to strangers! How amazing is that?
I’ve interacted with both of them quite a lot. But I never knew this. I cannot recall a single post I’ve seen where they talk about being related.
And, yeah, I like her, but I didn’t realize that was what the cool kids thought. Now I may have to change my mind. 
I wouldn’t say the best Doper because I’m sure the Dope is full of wonderful people I’d like to meet (as well as some I am glad live far far far away from me). But I’ve always liked and respected monstro, and this is I guess the best thread to say that if I’m ever in the area where she works/lives, I’d be delighted to invite her for lunch or dinner, my treat (so take me to the best place you know).
