For an Aussie in November “cold” is problematic but a shot from the tour:
Middle of July-23 at the top of Beartooth Pass where the last remains of the years snow drifts linger. Came across half a dozen mountain goats relaxing. They could have sat on the grass, or sunned themselves on exposed rocks but they prefer to chill out by sitting on the ice.
When you try out your brand new Official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time, make sure you do it here, so you can have a plausible excuse when you almost shoot your eye out.
A night photo shoot in Edmonton in January. -27C outside. Mrs. Stone graciously stopped shivering long enough for me to get a crisp shot from a tripod.
The final,i,age was tone-mapped to get the color to pop a little more.
