Ft. Washington, a neighborhood in the north of Manhattan, is where the George Washington Bridge arches between Manhattan and New Jersey, and it has a pedestrian walkway. The trees — both along the rocky Jersey coast and along the railbed on Manhattan’s west side — are really nice in the fall.
