Evidently to be called Spamalot. I want to go see it, but will anyone but Python fans want to? Will they even get the title? I’ll probably go see it in Chicago if I can.
Oh yeah, I hopefully won’t get confused and go see Camelot.
I’d like to see it, but I’m worried that they might demand a password at the entrance.
Well I think Spamalot is a stupid name (and a silly place) so I wouldn’t mind if they change it.
Tim Curry as King Arthur? Could be interesting…
No password will be needed, but you will have to answer three questions. Bone up on your ancient geography. And your colors.
I don’t see why they had to include “spam” in the title. Spam has nothing to do with the movie, being from a sketch they did on a completely different series some years before. They could’ve just as easily called it “Monty Python and the Holy Grail: The Musical” or something similar. I mean, it worked for “Footloose”.
On second thought, let’s not go to see Camelot. It is a silly play…
Er…no, it’s from the Knights of the Round table song where they note that in Camelot they eat “ham and jam and spam a lot”.
Which still isn’t a good reason to call it that, especially as they never went there.
Oh, sure: mike1dog wants to talk about Spamalot and suddenly there’s a party. But when Brainiac04, Shirley Ujest and I leapt out of the rabbit we took you not only by surprise but completely unarmed! (such that you paid us no mind)
(betenoir was the only one who wanted to play before.)
Well, that’s fine I never wanted to participate in this Thread anyway. I always wanted to be a Lumberjack!
