Moon landings faked says Neil Armstrong.
I love it:
I mean, I know it’s not their first language, but c’mon… Does Bangladesh have zero professional standards?

This is funny. I wish they had stayed in Madison Wisconsin.
Please, please, please let them pick up this story next: The Onion | America's Finest News Source.
*“Thank you for calling Bangladesh News. How might I assist you today? Ah, dat is correct. Mr Armstrong admitted that he very much faked the moon landing with NASA. He was very bad…. Very bad. No, Ma’am, it is right here. I am reading it in very clear print. He very much faked the moon landing. Thank you for calling the Bangladesh News. Have a wonderful day. *”
HA HA HA Ha Ha ha ha!!!
English is the national language of India and is very often the first language.
Sarcasm and the nuances of satire? Not so much.
.
Now, in all fairness, they no longer have “The Weekly World News” to go to for fact-checking.
My biggest fear is that my conspiracy-theory obssessed brother in law will get his mitts on the Bangladeshi article and try to use it to prove to me that the moon landing was faked. D’oh. Loved The Onion’s article, though.
Bangladesh and India are not the same country.
Yes, the only official language of Bangladesh is Bengali. However, English is widely used in both Bangladesh and India.
As others have said, Bangladesh is not India! But at least the newspaper apologized and didn’t try a runaround.
Ya know… it’s not like I don’t know they are different countries, but for some reason, I just got “India” in my head. I travel to India and have a friend who travels to Bangladesh.
Brain fart all the way.
Like, I had the ‘very bad’ reference going, too… which harks back to Babu from Seinfeld, who was from Bangladesh and was deported there, too.
As I said, “brain fart”.
It’s not the first time it happened. Just ask the Beijing Evening news.
This is brilliant.
Babu Bhatt was an immigrant from Pakistan, not Bangladesh. You are a very, very, bad man.
