a) Is it true the WTC Towers each had their own zip?
Or, something to this effect?

b) While the height is well known, does anyone know the average width and depth of these towers?

I think the center itself had it’s own zip code, not each tower.

They mentioned on the air once that the number of exchanges (phone # prefixes) for the WTC was greater than in the city of Detroit.

The World Trade Center had its own zip – 10048 – shared by both towers. It’s actually not uncommon in New York for a building to have its own zip code. The Empire State Building has its own zip (10118) as does the Chrysler Building (10174). All told, there are about 30 such buildings in the city.

Thanks for the info…never stopped to think about how complex the phone and mail systems get in these tall buildings! They are vertical cities!
