"More Abortionists Killed on Law & Order" Than In Real Life: True or Not?

Annie, were any of the abortion-motivated-murder victims female?

In any case, that’s a heck of a mouthful to fit into a message board topic title. Sometimes labels are convenient, and not meant derisively (despite the way others would like to see them used), and over-sensitivity to their use just comes off looking odd.

I can think of two on Law & Order, though the first was a stooge who was planting the bomb when it went off. For irony points, she was pregnant at the time.

So, Law & Order has killed roughly the same number of abortionists (sorry Annie, I hate quibbling over semantics) in New York City as have been killed in the entire country in real life. That must mean that, in the L&O-verse, abortion doctors get offed somewhere in the country almost every day.

And seeing as how everyone who gets acquitted gets murdered on the courthouse steps, you’d think they’d have better security, or a tunnel leading to an inconspicuous exit in another building, or something.

Annie-Xmas - So I can’t call my orthopedist an orthopedist? And what am I supposed to call my dentist?

StG

Wasn’t that pretty much how half of all Miami Vice episodes ended? I seem to recall Bruce Willis, early in his career, being the target of “staircase justice”.
Anyway, the CSI guys catch more serial killers in a season than most FBI specialists catch in a career.

My orthopedist was called “the wrist doctor” because all he did was wrists. And that’s fine.

Call your dentist a dentist or an oral surgeon. Either is fine.

But calling an OB/GYN an abortionist would only be correct if all they did was abortions. And even them I’d go with “abortion specialist.” And to say to not call them a doctor is just 100% plain wrong. AND ridiculous.

I think “extractionist” would be the equivalent to “abortionist.”
