More Heartbreak-Venting! I'm at a loss

Not sure if serious…

Obviously, the landlord is not following the law or he’d have to go through channels to evict the boyfriend. However, it’s a small town, and it’s quite possible that the landlord knows the boyfriend well enough to induce him to give up his apartment without a fight. Perhaps he’s threatened to go to the fire chief. Who know?

Dragongirl, I agree with the others who have advised you to stay out of his business now that you’re broken up. No good is going to come out of it. You already have enough information to know that he’s a loser.

I know it sucks, but I’d pay the $10 per month to get my credit score monitored for the next year. If he has your personal information, he may try to steal your identity to open up credit cards. Addicts cannot be trusted.

Good luck to you.

I know that if I had an a partner or an ex that assaulted me like that, I’d make sure that everyone I knew found out that she was violent and thinks she can casually wave away assault/partner abuse.

Sounds like he is well rid of you. Hope he finds someone sane.

She’s just lucky she didn’t snap his femur.
