Exactly right. My sister’s daughters/stepdaughters/the children she raised as a lesbian and later as a single mother all turned out okay.
The babies biological father is currently in prison for the attempted murder of another one of his baby’s mothers. Yeah, these children really need him around.
ETA: Thanks to everyone for their well wishes and praises. As I tell people: Maybe children do better with a mother and father, but the foster care system is a nightmare I wouldn’t force on a dog.
